Being in control of your life and having
realistic expectations about your day-to-day challenges are the keys to stress
management, which is perhaps the most important ingredient to living a happy,
healthy and rewarding life. “Much of the stress that people feel doesn’t come
from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they’ve started.”
“In times of great stress or adversity, it’s
always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something
positive.” “Doing something that is productive is a great way to alleviate
emotional stress. Get your mind doing something that is productive.”
“Its not
stress that kills us, it is our reaction to it.”If you don't think your
anxiety, depression, sadness and stress impact your physical health, think
again. All of these emotions trigger chemical reactions in your body, which can
lead to inflammation and a weakened immune system. Learn how to cope, sweet friend.
There will always be dark days.
“Stress is caused by being ‘here’ but wanting to be ‘there.’ God will never give you anything you can't handle, so don't stress. Happiness
is a choice. You can choose to be happy. There's going to be stress in life,
but it's your choice whether you let it affect you or not. Many of us feel
stress and get overwhelmed not because we're taking on too much, but because
we're taking on too little of what really strengthens us.
There's a lot of stress out there, and to handle it, you just need to
believe in yourself; always go back to the person that you know you are, and
don't let anybody tell you any different, because everyone's special and
everyone's awesome.
Letting go helps us to to live in a more peaceful state of mind and helps
restore our balance. It allows others to be responsible for them and for us to
take our hands off situations that do not belong to us. This frees us from
unnecessary stress.
Adopting the right attitude can convert a negative stress into a positive
one. The truth is that there is no actual stress or anxiety in the world; it's
your thoughts that create these false beliefs. You can't package stress, touch
it, or see it. There are only people engaged in stressful thinking.
To go slow to go fast. I think that applies to everything in life. We
live as though there aren't enough hours in the day but if we do each thing
calmly and carefully we will get it done quicker and with much less stress.
On physical level you may try these-
Engage in physical activity
Get enough sleep at night
Take a break as soon as you recognize that you're stressed
Breathe deeply
Visualize a "happy place."
Practice positive self-talk
Physical exercise
Positive assertiveness
