Most valuable things in life

The ability to love, forgive and live in the present; we no longer love unconditionally, rather we love others until our interests are satisfied. We do not forgive those who have wronged us, even for the most trivial matters. We are so caught up in our past and judging others, we lose out on living and experiencing life.
1

Gratitude and being content; the key to true happiness is being content and grateful for what you possess. Without gratitude, one cannot truly enjoy the pleasures of life. Not being content with what you have leads to greed and misery.

Faith and patience; these are two qualities that I highly value. Believe in yourself and God (if you do believe in Him) and learn to be patient. He who has mastered these two qualities can perform tasks that would be considered miraculous.

Family & Friends; the only people who will always love me, never judge me and always stand by my side, no matter what the circumstances. My parents are my friends and mentors, while my younger sibling is the trigger for my transformation into a child once again.

Time; Time is the most valuable thing in life, because lost time is never found again. If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you'll never get it done. As you may delay, but time will not. Waste your money and you're only out of money, but waste your time and you've lost a part of your life.

Practical ways to improve yourself

We all need people who will give us feedback. That's how we improve. There is no better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance the next time. Communication is a skill that you can learn. It's like riding a bicycle or typing. If you're willing to work at it, you can rapidly improve the quality of every part of your life.

This has always been a motto of mine: Attempt the impossible in order to improve your work. Our lives improve only when we take chances - and the first and most difficult risk we can take is to be honest with ourselves.Seek constantly to improve my manners and graces, for they are the sugar to which all are attracted.

Know yourself to improve yourself. We can improve our relationships with others by leaps and bounds if we become encouragers instead of critics. Spend some time on weekend on home improvement; improve your attitude toward your family. BE OPEN TO new thoughts, to new people, to new principles, to new ideas, to new experiences. "NEW" MAKES US GROW.

These are some practical way to improve yourself-

Find inspiration and motivation in your heart, (not in books!)

Make a list of your goals

Work on your body

Work on creating good rapport with people around you

The best way to create rapport with people is to love them.
Create inspirational atmosphere around you
Overcome your limiting beliefs

Spend some time in virtual reality

Be selfish, give more time to yourself

Quit bad habits and cultivate good habits

Observe your thoughts like a spy

There should not be a single thought or negative emotion which passes without your attention.

how to reduce stress naturally?

Being in control of your life and having realistic expectations about your day-to-day challenges are the keys to stress management, which is perhaps the most important ingredient to living a happy, healthy and rewarding life. “Much of the stress that people feel doesn’t come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they’ve started.”

“In times of great stress or adversity, it’s always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive.” “Doing something that is productive is a great way to alleviate emotional stress. Get your mind doing something that is productive.”

“Its not stress that kills us, it is our reaction to it.”If you don't think your anxiety, depression, sadness and stress impact your physical health, think again. All of these emotions trigger chemical reactions in your body, which can lead to inflammation and a weakened immune system. Learn how to cope, sweet friend. There will always be dark days.

“Stress is caused by being ‘here’ but wanting to be ‘there.’ God will never give you anything you can't handle, so don't stress. Happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy. There's going to be stress in life, but it's your choice whether you let it affect you or not. Many of us feel stress and get overwhelmed not because we're taking on too much, but because we're taking on too little of what really strengthens us.

There's a lot of stress out there, and to handle it, you just need to believe in yourself; always go back to the person that you know you are, and don't let anybody tell you any different, because everyone's special and everyone's awesome.

Letting go helps us to to live in a more peaceful state of mind and helps restore our balance. It allows others to be responsible for them and for us to take our hands off situations that do not belong to us. This frees us from unnecessary stress.

Adopting the right attitude can convert a negative stress into a positive one. The truth is that there is no actual stress or anxiety in the world; it's your thoughts that create these false beliefs. You can't package stress, touch it, or see it. There are only people engaged in stressful thinking.

To go slow to go fast. I think that applies to everything in life. We live as though there aren't enough hours in the day but if we do each thing calmly and carefully we will get it done quicker and with much less stress.

On physical level you may try these-
Engage in physical activity
Get enough sleep at night
Take a break as soon as you recognize that you're stressed
Breathe deeply
Visualize a "happy place."
Practice positive self-talk

Physical exercise
Positive assertiveness

How to control anger?

You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger as anger adversely affects our body. Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned, you are the most sufferer of your own anger as this first passes through you.

People won't have time for you if you are always angry or complaining. To be angry is to revenge the faults of others on ourselves as it is harming us.
When angry count to ten before you speak. If very angry, count to one hundred or delay.

Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured so it harms you more. For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind. We lose our understanding during anger as anger and intolerance are the enemies of correct understanding.

Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools, so if you are smart then never get angry even at the thought level, because anger at the thought level has the same effects of words & action, so our thoughts should be anger less. In times of great stress or adversity, it's always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive. Always remember whatever is begun in anger ends in shame.

On physical level you may try these techniques-
Think before you speak
Engage in physical activity
Get enough sleep at night
Take a break as soon as you recognize that you're angry
Breathe deeply
Visualize a "happy place."
Practice positive self-talk

Try to see some humor in what angered you.

How to overcome laziness?

Allow yourself time to relax and do the things you enjoy-The first & foremost thing to overcome laziness is to take complete rest on bed & positively fix time to start the work after 15 min. After rest wash your face with fresh water & take tea/water which you like.

Visualize the benefits of a task/activity- You should always see the benefit of completing the task as you have to complete the work, no one else will do the work on your behalf.

Start with easy work- Always starts with easy work & cut it from list, this will give you motivation to do another work & you will feel happy,
& always take one work at a time if possible, otherwise you will not see any result & feel exhausted & you will lose interest. At least do some works, this will give you happiness as well as motivation.

Always prepare “To do list”- Always note down all works in your to do list, which is to be kept in your pocket. If you have to talk someone, write his name with phone number. Highlight important works & set little targets such as after completing these jobs I will take Tea/lunch/Dinner/rest or watch the TV etc. you like the most.

Regular breaks- Don’t perform any activity continuously without any break. Take 15 min. break after 1 hour for your body to relax. This will increase your working capability. In break time you may take a cup of tea/water, walk or do any favorite activity. It is also very important for health point of view.

Right Concentration- Focus on one thought or object at a time. By doing this, we can be quiet and attain true peace of mind & can do the work without confusion & laziness with clarity in the mind.

Reward yourself- Every time you managed to overcome laziness and successfully accomplished a task you should reward yourself, as this will help you to associate positive feelings about making efforts to get things done. Just make sure to adapt the reward to the efforts you ma

Changing Negative Thought Patterns

To create positive thoughts, we need to first take the foremost step of determination. Determination means a strong promise to the self that I will change my thought patterns from negative to positive. That is the first realization. Then, we need to select one particular habit of weakness that disturbs us and does not let us be powerful.

For e.g. if I have the habit of being impatient in difficult situations, then first I need to fill myself with that quality through self-effort. Until I do that, no matter how much I may try to be patient in any situation, because I am lacking the quality at the level of the habit and it has not been erased, it will be difficult for me to be patient.

Let’s say on a particular day, I am faced with a traffic jam. If I say to myself that all these vehicles on my way should get cleared in the next five minutes, but they take half an hour, will I be able to remain calm in those extra twenty five minutes, which I did not anticipate or expect. So, what I require is patience. If I say to myself, in those twenty five minutes that I have to be patient, will I experience that virtue? I will not unless that virtue is in my habit or part of my personality.

So, it is like filling me with a lot of happiness and then I will experience that quality. I cannot say to myself - I am the happiest person that exists in this world and experience happiness alone. I need to first fill myself with that quality and then happiness will come naturally to me.

So it’s about being natural and not theoretical alone i.e. I should be an embodiment or a practical form of every quality and power and not just repeat inside my mind that I have that quality or power. This applies to all the different qualities and powers which are required in crossing negative situations or circumstances.

Meditation fills us with these qualities and powers very easily, because it is a beautiful relationship and connection with the Supreme Source of spiritual energy and power – God, who is full of those qualities and powers and never loses them ever, unlike us, who need to fill ourselves when we lose them.
